LONDON PHOENIX ORCHESTRA
"As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted…"
St John's, Smith Square
This concert features works that were left uncompleted at the time of the composer's death. Elgar's Third Symphony is one of the most famous examples, and was completed eighteen years ago by Anthony Payne. We are joined in the first half by violist Emmanuella Reiter for Serly's completion of Bartok's Viola Concerto.
