 STUDENT TESTIMONIES

“I really appreciate the way you teach. You’ve helped me become much more aware of the small details in my playing, and I feel like I have a better understanding and control of my right hand.

I also feel more prepared for auditions, both musically and technically. Working with you has helped me feel more confident and secure when I play.

One of the things I value the most is how you’ve helped me find a more effective way of practicing. It’s made a big difference in how quickly I learn and how well I understand the music.” Sara R R

“Emmanuella has been incredibly helpful in guiding me through orchestral excerpts, always bringing her vast experience and insight. She’s also transformed the way I practise, helping me work more efficiently, think critically in a positive way, and approach auditions with much more confidence. Her technical exercises have made a real difference to my playing.” Maggie P

50th International Viola Congress - Paris 2026

I had the honour of taking part in a round table discussion celebrating the late Karen Tuttle at the 50th International Viola Congress in Paris along side Kim Kashkashian, Carol Rodland, Jennifer Stumm, Michelle LaCourse, Brenton Caldwell, Kate Lewis, Daphne Gerling & Katrin Meidell.

My contribution was a demonstration on how I apply some of Karen Tuttle’s concepts to orchestral excerpts. Below is an extract of my presentation along side the annotated part supporting the explanation of Don Juan.
